Love at first sight

Impossible to deny a connection like that.
July 2017

Bella

Bella was our first pet, found in a field, but the biggest princess of them all. She loves her sweater, and if she likes you enough you'll be graced with one of her trademark head-bumps. Nobody gives head-bumps like Bella does. She likes to lay with us in bed, and will sometimes even sleep with us.
June 2018

Luna

Luna was Kris's one-year anniversary gift. We got her just before she turned three. She's the sweetest and quietest Husky you'll ever meet — loves belly rubs, likes her space, but she loves people. Kiely jokes that Luna would just give an intruder a tour of the house. She'll carry stuffed animals around with her if Polly doesn't get to them first.

First house

We were lucky enough to buy into Kris's great-grandparents' house and do some work to it before it was eventually bought and torn down by the city.
December 2018

Polly

Polly was Kiely's gift to herself when we got our original house in Lehi. Polly loves Kiely more than anything in the world — followed by chewing and chasing toys. The most playful pet in the house. Can play fetch for hours, loyal enough to walk without a leash. A mama's girl through and through.
August 2019

Rebel

Boy did we name him right. This little guy isn't scared of anyone or anything — hence the photo of him looking at the world from the balcony. Determined like nothing we've ever seen, which can make him a pain, but he's a massive lover who jumps into our arms to be held like a baby.

NoMad

NoMad is the fatty of the bunch. He's quick to let you know when the food is low. A little timid at times, likes to hide from groups, but he'll stand his ground when he wants to. Nobody can push NoMad around.

We got engaged

We spent Christmas with Kiely's family so they were all there, and Kris had his family on webcam.

Second house

After the sale of our first house, we bought our second one. It's where we keep holding our adventures — including our backyard wedding.

We bought a Skoolie

In 2022 we had a crazy idea: we bought a Skoolie. While the bus is a project of love and needs a lot more work, we're excited about what we'll be able to do with it. A Skoolie is basically a tiny home on wheels — and ours is far from that point.

We got married

A backyard wedding, a gazebo, friends and family — a lovely evening. Ceremony under the gazebo, dinner long after dark.

Poseidon

He's an axolotl. You can always tell when he's hungry — he gets excited when you hang out with him. P.S. he glows.
April 2024

Eclipse 2024

Flew out to NY/NJ for the eclipse. A great time, and we got to see Kiely's brother while we were out there.
